Information We Collect​

When you use vTual, especially when submitting additions and/or changes to creator data, we collect some information that you provide voluntarily, including but not limited to:

  • Link to the creator's channel for which data is added and/or changed,
  • Link to the creator's public content (VOD, live streaming and/or archived video) for which data is added and/or changed,
  • Creator profiles that can be accessed publicly and disseminated directly by the creator or the official party that oversees the creator.

This information can be managed by the you or your appointed representative.

Third-party Services​

We obtain publicly available data about your channels and content through the services below:

  • Twitch API Service
    • Channel information about Channel ID, Name, Avatar, Banner, Description and Join Date.
    • Video information about ID, Title, Description, Publish Date, Duration.
  • YouTube API Service
    • Channel information about Channel ID, Playlist ID, Name, Avatar, Banner, Description, Number of View, Join Date.
    • Video information about ID, Thumbnail, Title, Description, Publish Date, Schedule Date, Actual Start Date, Actual End Date, Duration.

In order to maintain the integrity of the data we display, we only take data from the official API services.

How We Use Your Information​

We use the information we collect to provide information about Content Creators, including but not limited to streaming schedules, profiles and statistics. We use this information only for profiling and statistical purposes of the Content Creator itself.

Changes to Privacy Policy​

Our privacy policy may be updated from time to time, and such changes will be posted on this website. We encourage you to check this privacy policy page periodically for recent changes.

Registering​

Some of our services require account registration in order to use them, and if so, most of it require a valid email address as the identification method.

Although registering via email is common for some people, some may be reluctant to share their email address due to privacy. After all, even though we will not share your email address with third parties, your email address is still stored in our system. We consider your concern in this matter and do not have a problem with it.

But even so, a valid email address is still required in the registration process for all services that require it. This is because we need a medium to communicate directly with users when we need to inform or report something urgent about their account.

To address this issue, we recommend that you use an email address from a disposable email service when registering an account. However, if you choose to use this option, please use a long and unusual email address, because the inbox of disposable email services is usually accessible to anyone.

There are tons of disposable email providers that you can choose, some are free and some are paid with more accessible security options. The choice is in your hands.
